Safety
First

Safety first

We nurture a continuous learning environment that champions ongoing health and safety training and education. This creates high quality work and high employee morale as it equips them with the knowledge and confidence to work competently and efficiently. This is done through the following ways:

  • Contract-specific training and induction, renewed on a yearly basis
  • Safe work practices embedded within our operational models and guidelines
  • Disciplined oversight from a dedicated Safety Committee who considers all safety concerns, including legislative changes, employee feedback, incidents, investigations, training and continuous improvement.

Risk minimisation

We are dedicated to creating value and minimising risk while operating with the upmost integrity. Our ISO accredited Integrated Management Systems guide our ongoing achievement of strong risk management practices and the protection of our client’s data.

Integrity at our core

We’re passionate about being recognised as a leader in business ethics and integrity amongst the facilities management industry and beyond. Our senior management team lead by example to ensure that, from the bigger picture right down to our day-to-day activities, everything we do is honest and reliable.

Indigenous
Engagement

We’ve joined forces with Zancott Recruitment (an Indigenous-owned labour hire business) to form Zancott Knight as part of our Indigenous Engagement Strategy.

Zancott Knight is an Indigenous-owned, managed and controlled business that provide first class facilities and project management solutions across Australia. As a Supply Nation Certified business, their key aim is to close the economic gap of Indigenous communities in the areas of health, education, life expectancy and career progression, through strong relationships and employee development.

Sustainable Practices

We make best use of technological advances, research and innovation, to minimise our environmental footprint as well as our clients. Our key areas of focus include (but is not limited to) hazardous and non-hazardous waste reduction, recycling, and continuous evaluation and improvement of landfill/disposal practices.

Corporate
Governance

We are proud of our long history of sound corporate ethical standards and strong social responsibility practices. Our primary objective is to ensure that we provide services to our clients in a fair and ethical manner. We are committed to achieving the highest standards of corporate Governance by partnering with our clients and assuring strong cultural and value alignment.

The application of this process-based approach ensures our employees and subcontractors alike are aware of their corporate social responsibilities in terms of health and safety, environments and sustainability, social procurement and inclusion.

We strive to benefit both the local communities within which we work – as our business grows so do the local communities around us. We have a core commitment to engage small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) from the local community, as their understanding of local issues and connection to the local community ensure they deliver their work with pride. We work closely to promote the development of SMEs through mentoring, training and organisational support.
